Tacoma Code & Coffee

NOTE: This is not a University of Puget Sound event. Please read description on free parking, free catering options and coffee! Please RSVP here to secure your spot so the organizers can get an accurate count on coffee.

Calling all coders and aspiring software devs! Code and Coffee is an inclusive, informal co-working session. People of all skill levels attend, and we love it that way. Many people bring projects to work on, and many other people socialize the entire time. It’s entirely up to you!

The Intro Circle – Around 30 minutes into the event (12:30 pm), we will do a standup in a circle.

• Round 1: Your name- Your occupation/professional interests- What would you like help with?
• Round 2: Job opportunities you’re hiring for OR announce that you are looking for one. If none, that’s cool.- Community events you wanna plug.

After the introduction circle, everything is self-organized. The rest of the event is yours to code, collaborate, or just chat! Whether you’re here to make progress on a project, meet fellow coders, or enjoy a coffee-fueled brainstorming session, we’re excited to have you.

🚗 Parking at The Pioneer Collective – Free street parking is available all day Sunday in Tacoma. You can also park for free all day at the Tacoma Dome station. From there, hop on the T Line for a 10-minute ride to Courthouse Square (exit at the Theater District Station and head east down the hill towards Pacific and A Street).
